Hello, Bradford Families!

I hope you are enjoying the final weeks of summer! Please take a few minutes to watch our latest Husky Highlights: Summer Edition video below for important information as we prepare to welcome our Huskies back to school.

The video below is approximately 7½ minutes long. For your convenience, I have included a quick summary of the key information below.

Important Dates & Reminders

Teacher Assignments: Available in the Parent Portal beginning Friday, August 21.

- Open House: Tuesday, September 1

- 4:30–5:15 PM: Grades 1 & 3, Compass, and Fundamentals

- 5:30–6:15 PM: Kindergarten, Grades 2 & 4

- Open House Parking: Voting will also take place at Bradford on September 1, so parking will be very limited. Families who live nearby are encouraged to walk or carpool when possible. Please attend during your designated session and leave promptly at the end to help us maintain a safe and efficient traffic flow. Additional details will be shared as we get closer to Open House.

- First Day of School for Grades 1–4: Wednesday, September 2

- Kindergarten Screenings: September 2, 3 & 4. Registered Kindergarten families should watch ParentSquare for information about signing up for a screening appointment. Please remember that the teacher conducting your child's screening may not necessarily be your child's classroom teacher. Kindergarten class rosters will be finalized after screenings are completed.

- First Day of Kindergarten: Wednesday, September 9

- Kindergarten Tears & Cheers Breakfast: Wednesday, September 9, from 9:00–9:30 AM, after morning drop-off. Kindergarten families are invited to connect and get to know one another. If possible, we kindly ask that children attendance be limited so our adults have an opportunity to talk and connect. Please see the attached flyer for details.

- MCAS Family Portal: Families of students who participated in MCAS should have received information through ParentSquare about accessing the MCAS Family Portal. If you do not see the information, please check your spam or junk folder.

- Stay Connected: Please continue checking ParentSquare regularly for additional back-to-school information and updates.

We are working hard to get everything ready and cannot wait to welcome our students and families back to Bradford!
